Bret Berry's '64 Bonnie Bobber

 

      Completely rebuilt after my garage caught fire in Oct. 2004. In search for help in the crisis I came across a board and posted being in need of a good mechanic who could help and teach me tricks of the trade. PatMan150 and NCBonnie responded, pointed me in the right direction, invited me to be a guest in the BIR board, and the rest is history...

     1964 Bonne 650cc, 6" over hardtail, Kangaroo leather braided custom leather with a huge nautical star tooled in the center of the pan, stock frontend, no guages, no mirrors, just 'skin n bones' like the logo says on the oil bag. 5.00 rear tire, 4.25 front, 11:1 compression, hollowed out flywheel with 80+ holes, then filled with aluminum and balanced. Chopped 1 3/4" Headers with gatling gun extention. Classic duel racing stripes down tank and rear fender. '71 rockers, 68' 4 gal slim line tank, and 69 front end and hub.
